Hey, I'm Ilango

I'm a software engineer and maker. I'm passionate about open-source software, systems, and applied AI. I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Workday working on a platform for building AI agents. I previously worked at FlowiseAI (acquired by Workday) and other early-stage SaaS startups.

I build/tinker on side projects in my free time. Right now, I am building:

• Kobun, a git-based CMS for developers

I also spend time on learning new technologies. Lately, I’m enjoying digging into the internals of SQLite, Redis, DNS, etc. My areas of interests are open source software, Linux, devops, and system design.

I write here about these topics. You can find them here: articles and series.

Outside of tech, I enjoy reading books and manga. I occasionally play video games. I also love watching anime and F1.
