Why I'm Starting To Write Online Again (And I'm Taking It Seriously This Time)

I recently signed up for Dickie Bush & Nicolas Cole’s cohort-based course, Ship 30 for 30.

Here are the top 3 reasons why:

  1. Build a writing habit. I tried on my own to build a writing habit before and I failed each time. I figured if I had some guidance on how to start small, build a writing habit sustainably, and how to come up with ideas, I will make it stick this time.

  2. Become more prolific. I write some posts each year but they are nowhere near the number of things I want to write about. I want to explore a lot of things in software engineering, open source, and technologies like AI. I want to write about these things as a way to share my ideas and lessons, but also as a record of all the things I’m doing.

  3. Build confidence in sharing my work. I don’t write enough and the things I do write, I don’t share. I write in to the void that is the internet. It also applies to the things I build. I have gotten so used to not sharing that it has become a habit. There is no way I achieve my goals, if I cannot build the courage to show my work to the world.

Over the next 30 days, I plan on writing about software engineering, open source, and AI.

Join me on this adventure—and let me know if you have any questions along the way!

I’m excited to start sharing what I know online.
